Nature EdVentures
The Metro District offers a variety of programs to foster responsible stewardship of the environment and our community. These programs offer youth and adults hands-on learning opportunities and encourage viewing our environment in a respectful manner.
Throughout the year, the Metro District’s park rangers and staff offer programs that emphasize education and stewardship of the parks and open space areas in Highlands Ranch. Nature programs and presentations are also available to groups and schools. For more information or to schedule a park ranger to visit your organization, please call the Metro District’s Recreation Services staff at 303-791-2710.

Nature Art & Keeping a Nature Journal

Keeping a nature journal can be a great way to connect with the nature. Learn simple ways to draw and paint shapes to record your observations and feelings about the natural world. Join us and learn the basic format using pencil, watercolors and natural materials to find your style and purpose of journaling.
Registration for Nature EdVentures programs is required at least one week in advance.
