The Spring Gulch Equestrian Area is a 105-acre facility used since 1978 for equestrian jumping. It contains a series of trails and jumps designed for the English style of riding. Equestrian groups use the property for organized events, and informally throughout the year for horse and rider training. It features a jump course, dressage area, cross country schooling, restroom and dirt parking lot.

Directions
- From Denver – Take I-25 south to C-470 west. Take the Santa Fe Dr. exit and turn left (south). The Spring Gulch Equestrian Area is located approximately 1.5 miles from the exit on the left (east) side of the road.
- From Santa Fe Dr. South – Take Santa Fe Dr. north. Once you pass the intersection with Highlands Ranch Parkway you will travel about half a mile to the Spring Gulch Equestrian Area located on your right (east).
Park Rules
Dogs must be leashed at all times.
No horses or vehicles are permitted on the dam road, other than emergency vehicles.
The following are prohibited:
- Littering and dumping
- Fireworks
- Firearms
- Golf
- Glass
- Fires, except in grills
- Archery, paintball, pellet and BB guns
- Model rockets and airplanes
- Overnight camping
- Harassment of wildlife
