Whether you’re volunteering for a Scout project, completing high school community service requirements or just having fun, meeting people and becoming involved in your community, consider volunteering with the Highlands Ranch Metro District.

Serve on a Board

The Highlands Ranch Metro District and Highlands Ranch Park & Recreation Foundation are both governed by a volunteer board of directors.

Youth Sports Coach

Provide a positive athletic experience to a group of children by teaching skills, sportsmanship, fair play and fun. No experience is required. Training and coaching materials are provided. For more information please email recreationinfo@highlandsranch.org.

Independent Open Space Cleanup

Help keep Highlands Ranch beautiful by participating in a park and open space cleanup. The Metro District’s independent clean-up program allows people to help keep the community’s parks, trails and open space areas beautiful. A cleanup fosters a sense of community and ownership of the outdoor spaces. It encourages residents to be responsible for the public areas in Highlands Ranch by keeping them clean, in turn leading to a safer, more vibrant community.

Highlands Ranch Mansion

Delve into Highlands Ranch history by volunteering at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Volunteer as a docent, greeter or at special events. To volunteer, everyone must first complete a training program.

Highlands Ranch Senior Center

Engage with others in a vibrant and welcoming environment through volunteer experiences at the Highlands Ranch Senior Center. There are many opportunities leading up to, and after, the senior center grand opening including tour guide, front desk reception, office assistance, program instructor, social event committee, center leadership and more.
