Nature EdVentures
The Metro District offers a variety of programs to foster responsible stewardship of the environment and our community. These programs offer youth and adults hands-on learning opportunities and encourage viewing our environment in a respectful manner.
Throughout the year, the Metro District’s park rangers and staff offer programs that emphasize education and stewardship of the parks and open space areas in Highlands Ranch. Nature programs and presentations are also available to groups and schools. For more information or to schedule a park ranger to visit your organization, please call the Metro District’s Recreation Services staff at 303-791-2710.

Nature Camp is the perfect chance for kids ages 7-10 to fish, explore the outdoors and learn about wildlife from local experts. Led by a Metro District park ranger, this outdoor camp includes nature-themed games, crafts, activities and snacks.
Camp meets Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19 from 8:15 a.m. -12:15 p.m. each day.
