The Colorado Rockies Baseball Skills Challenge is a free skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13. The baseball skills challenge program tests the fundamentals of hitting, throwing and base running.
Join us at Northridge Park for the local Highlands Ranch competition. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the competition will begin at 6 p.m. Boys and girls will compete separately in the following age groups:
Please note, no metal spikes are permitted. Only sneakers (gym shoes) or rubber/plastic cleats will be allowed.
Ribbons will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Top scorers from each age group will advance to a sectional competition. Top sectional scorers from each age group will advance to the State Championship to be held at CocaCola All Star Park in Lakewood on Aug. 10. All state finalists will then be invited to attend the Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field that evening.
