Summer Baseball League

Ages 7-14

The Metro District’s summer baseball programs are geared towards the recreational through advanced level ball player. Our leagues focus on developing fundamentals, learning rules, game play/strategies, meeting new friends, and having fun. Leagues run from mid-May through the beginning of August. Registration begins in February.

Baseball & Softball Clinics

The Metro District is proud to offer camps and clinics in association with Diamond Club Training. Diamond Club operates its own facility as a national affiliate of America’s Baseball Camps and is the home of the Colorado Rockies fall scout team. Diamond Club Baseball camp directors are experienced professional instructors with years of playing and coaching experience at the professional and/or college level. They supplement their staff with current college players and elite high school players who have come through their system.

Fall Competitive Baseball League

Ages 7-14

Our 2019 season is currently underway.

This is a competitive baseball league for above average to advanced teams only. Games are played on Sundays. Practices are once a week on a shared field. Season includes eight games plus a single elimination tournament. Practices began the week of July 29.

Umpire Training – Youth Baseball & Softball

Each spring/summer the Highlands Ranch Metro District seeks qualified umpires for the baseball and girls softball seasons, and offers dynamic umpire training with the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). Certified umpires will go in depth on rules and game situations for both baseball and softball. Includes training on the field and in the classroom.
