Summer Baseball League

Ages 7-14

The Metro District’s summer baseball programs are geared towards the recreational through advanced level ball player. Our leagues focus on developing fundamentals, learning rules, game play/strategies, meeting new friends, and having fun.

Registration Registration – Saturday, Feb. 8 through Wednesday, April 8.
All program registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis or until leagues are full.
Waitlists will apply once leagues are full or after the registration deadline.
Late fees – A $15 late fee will apply after the registration deadline. (Late registrations may not be completed online. Please submit a registration form instead)
Equipment Players must provide running shoes or rubber cleats and a glove.

Baseball & Softball Clinics

The Metro District is proud to offer camps and clinics in association with Diamond Club Training. Diamond Club operates its own facility as a national affiliate of America’s Baseball Camps and is the home of the Colorado Rockies fall scout team. Diamond Club Baseball camp directors are experienced professional instructors with years of playing and coaching experience at the professional and/or college level. They supplement their staff with current college players and elite high school players who have come through their system.

Required equipment: glove, bat, helmet, hat and water bottle. Players should wear shorts, sweats or baseball pants and cleats.

Skills Clinic
Ages 6-14

Skills clinic features: Defense – outfield and infield play, catching fundamentals, footwork, balance, throwing mechanics, preparation and glove work. Hitting – balance, rhythm, timing, bat speed, power, mental approach and more.Register Online Now

Fall Competitive Baseball League

Team registration required
Ages 7-14

This is a competitive baseball league for above average to advanced teams only. Games are played on Sundays. Practices are once a week on a shared field. Teams must provide their own uniforms. Season includes eight games plus a single elimination tournament. Practices begin the week of July 27.

Registration begins Monday, June 8. Registration for Fall Competitive Baseball cannot be completed online. To register, call Luke at 720-240-5912.
Team registration deadline – Monday, July 13

Team fee*: max no. of players/team: 13
7-8 year olds $1,600 per team
9-14 year olds $1,800 per team

*$175 deposit due at time of registration; remainder of balance due by Aug. 7.

Umpire Training – Youth Baseball & Softball

Register Online NowAre you looking for a great summer job with flexible hours? The Highlands Ranch Metro District is seeking qualified umpires for the 2020 baseball and girls softball seasons. The Metro District is partnering with the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) to bring umpires a more dynamic training opportunity. Certified umpires will go in depth on rules and game situations for both baseball and softball. Includes training on the field and in the classroom.

Fee $42 (includes three hours of rules training and two and a half hours of field training, plus a softball and baseball rule book.)
