The Highlands Ranch Metro District offers lacrosse for boys and girls. We strive to promote the sport of lacrosse and its history, with emphasis in coaching and developing the fundamental skills and understanding of the game to the kids.

Introductory Lacrosse Programs

Ages 6-14Register Online Now

There’s no better way to learn the game and proper use of a lacrosse stick than an introductory lacrosse clinic for new players. This is a four-week introductory program. Lacrosse sticks will be provided.

Spring CARA Recreational 7 v 7 Lacrosse Leagues

Ages 6-14

The spring season is currently underway.

Boys and girls teams play in the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA). This league is designed for beginner lacrosse players or players looking for a more recreational league. Teams will travel for away games against other CARA teams. All teams are scheduled for seven games. Teams may be coed if combined.

Required Equipment Lacrosse helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, stick, protective cup and a mouth guard. Rib pads and throat protectors are optional, but recommended.
Season Turf practices begin the week of Feb. 26.
Grass practices begin the week of March 12.
Games begin March 17 and end April 28 (depending on weather).
Fee Resident: $135
Nonresident: $155


 

Boys Lacrosse Camp

Grades K – 9

Whether you are a new or an experienced player, this five-day camp is a great opportunity to learn and hone your skills.

Required equipment: shoulder pads, helmet, gloves, arm pads, mouthguard and a stick

Fall CARA Recreational 7 v 7 Lacrosse Leagues

Ages 6-14

Teams play in the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA).

Learn from the Pros Lacrosse Clinic

Ages 6-14

During March, Colorado Mammoth players and coaches conduct a two-hour coaches and players clinic. Customized to each age level, this up-tempo, high-energy, skills-based session will make coaches and players better prepared for the season. Included in the fee is a ticket to a Colorado Mammoth home game and T-shirt.
