The Metro District is responsible for protection, preservation and education of the natural resources in Highlands Ranch. We act as an environmental steward of these diverse areas managing our natural resources in the following areas:

• Open Space
• Open Space Information Center
• Forestry
• Community Gardens
• Public Outreach
