8:00 am Free Tree Limb Recycling

Cleaning up from spring storms? Keep your tree and shrub trimmings out of the landfill – recycle them for free.
Drop off your tree limbs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot south of Shea Stadium at Redstone Park, 3280 Redstone Park Circle. From Town Center Drive, head south on Commerce Center St. and take a left into the parking lot past Plum Creek Academy.

We can accept tree limbs less than 12 inches diameter and woody plant material. We cannot accept finished lumber, non-woody material, grass clippings, sod or root balls.

For Highlands Ranch residents only. Free mulch will be available on a self-service basis.

11:45 am Memorial Day Service

The community is invited to attend a Memorial Day Service May 29 at 11:45 a.m. at the Highlands Ranch Veterans Monument. Memorial Day is a day to honor the more than one million men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The Memorial Day Service is made possible by the work of volunteers Tom and Diane DiRito. The event includes participants from Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Littleton Fire Rescue, Highlands Ranch American Legion Post 1260 and is hosted by Steffan Tubbs with 850 KOA.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and read the tiles at Highlands Ranch Veterans Monument prior to the event. Seating is not provided. Guests should bring their own chair if standing for 25 minutes is an issue.
