The Metro District is offering free Christmas tree recycling once again this holiday season. Drop off your ornament and tinsel-free tree between Dec. 22 and Jan. 14 at one of our tree recycling sites.

• Toepfer Park – 9480 S. Venneford Ranch Rd.
• Dad Clark Park – 3385 Asterbrook Cir.
• Highland Heritage Regional Park – a Douglas County drop off site, 9651 S. Quebec St.

All Christmas trees will be chipped into mulch and made available free to Highlands Ranch residents. The mulch is available on a self-serve basis at each of the tree recycling locations. Mulch left over will be used on parkway landscape throughout the community.
