Aquafina Major League
Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run

Thursday, April 22
Register beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Redstone Park, South Green

The Aquafina Pitch, Hit, and Run is a free skills competition that provides boys and girls, ages 7 to 14 (age as of July 17, 2010), the opportunity to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities. Local champions can advance to sectional competitions and become eligible for advancement to team championships at major league ballparks.  Top performers from the team championship level will receive an all expense paid trip to the National Finals to be held during the All-Star Week at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

Players will test their skills in pitching, hitting and running.

Boys and girls compete separately in four age divisions:
7 & 8 year olds
9 & 10 year olds
11 & 12 year olds
13 & 14 year olds


The Colorado Rockies Baseball Skills Challenge

Wednesday, May 26. 
Register beginning at 5:15 p.m. at Northridge Park


This skills competition is open to both boys and girls age six through 13, (age as of Dec. 31, 2010).  Competition will be held at Northridge Park. The top boy and girl scorer in each age group from each local competition will advance to a sectional competition. The top boy and girl scorer in each age group at the sectional will then advance to the state competition at Coca-Cola All Star Park on August 15. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Players will test their skills in base running, batting and throwing.

There are four age divisions for both boys and girls:
6 & 7 year olds
8 & 9 year olds
10 & 11 year olds
12 & 13 year olds


Hershey Track and Field Meet

Thursday, May 27 at 5:30 p.m.

Come be a part of an exciting program geared towards promoting physical fitness, participation, friendship, and sportsmanship.  This event is open to boys and girls, ages 9 to 14 (as of Dec. 31, 2010).  Participants can enter up to three track events of their choice.  Winners will advance to the State Hershey Meet on Saturday, June 19 at French Field in Fort Collins.  A copy of the participant’s birth certificate must accompany the Hershey Track registration form.  Please call 303-791-2710 for more information or visit www.highlandsranch.org for registration forms.  Please call 720-348-6970 on day of event for rain-out information.
